It’s a viral trend that started on TikTok, and ended with some kids in handcuffs. Now, police are concerned about the new social media trend.
The new trend is called the “Door Kick Challenge,” and the idea is to kick someone’s door in, on video, just to get likes and clicks on social media. The idea may have started as an innocent prank, but authorities with one Florida county released a video that looked like the beginning of a robbery.
In the video, someone who was wearing a mask ran up to a home’s front door while holding an airsoft gun. The person then kicked in the door and ran off, while firing off several rounds of plastic BB bullets.
