Amy Schumer is starting afresh amid her recent weight loss.

“Back on my staircase bullshit again,” the comedian, 44, captioned a series of photos of her posing in a Maison Valentino dress posted to Instagram on Tuesday, November 11.

She added, “I actually left my house tonight. Who’s proud? I’m feeling good and happy. Deleted my old pics for no reason!”

Indeed, Schumer appears to have deleted or at least archived all of her old Instagram posts after recently showing off her weight loss.

Amy Schumer went from a hustling stand-up comedian to a major movie star. “After my dad got MS and we went bankrupt and my mom left him, that period from age 12 to 15 was a really rough time,” Schumer recalled to GQ in a 2015 profile. “And we all suffered from it, my siblings […]

Back in March, the Trainwreck star opened up about her experience with the FDA-approved GLP-1 drug Mounjaro, a brand name for tirzepatide, which is prescribed for treating type 2 diabetes, weight loss and obstructive sleep apnea.

“Three years ago, I tried [semaglutide drug] Wegovy,” Schumer said in an Instagram video. “I was puking, I couldn’t handle it. I don’t know if they’ve changed the formula, whatever. But anyway, I went on this Telehealth meeting with [virtual care clinic] Midi Health, and it was cheap. I wanted to try it myself ‘cause I wanted to recommend it to my friends who are nurses and teachers.”

“They put me on estrogen and progesterone because I realized I was in perimenopause and my symptoms from being perimenopause have disappeared,” Schumer continued. “My hair is fuller, my skin is better, I have more energy, I want to get down more, if you know what I mean. I’m talking about sex. So that’s been great and Mounjaro’s been great.”

She added of taking Mounjaro, “And, look, it’s not covered by insurance unless you have diabetes or like severe obesity, which most of the internet thinks I have. But I’m having a really good experience with it and I wanted to keep it real with you about that.”

Schumer has been candid about her weight struggles in the past, including her experiences with Ozempic, another brand name for semaglutide.

In a January appearance on SiriusXM’s Howard Stern Show, she said, “I have this gene, GDF15, which makes you extremely prone to nausea, which is why I was so sick during my pregnancy. So, I tried Ozempic almost three years ago and I was like, bedridden. I was like, vomiting — and then you have no energy. But other people take it and they’re all good. So, God bless them.”

She added, “I lost 30 pounds so quick. I looked great, but I couldn’t lift my head off the pillow. So what’s the point?”

Other stars who have used Mounjaro include Scott Disick, Whoopi Goldberg and Jim Gaffigan.

Ozempic has become a hot topic when it comes to weight loss — with some stars confirming they have used the drug while others denied it. Chelsea Handler admitted during a January 2023 episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast that she unknowingly took the Type 2 diabetes medication, which is traditionally used to improve […]

“I was so paranoid that I was going to be nauseous that I kind of put it off, but then it kind of worked,” Gaffigan, 59, exclusively told Us Weekly in November 2024. “It’s weird because we live in this society where people who eat too much are told that they just don’t have any self-control. … There are people that just have no ‘off’ button to eat, right?”

“It’s obviously personal, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it. But then again, anonymity is a thing surrounding a lot of struggles like that,” he added of the stigma around weight loss drugs.
