GMKtec has
revealed its newest mini PC, the NucBox M8, powered by the AMD Ryzen 5 PRO
6650H. This compact machine is built for people who want strong performance,
steady reliability, and a clean, modern design. We can start saying that, besides the impressive performance, it fits almost anywhere. It
suits creative work, gaming, office use, retail setups, and even classrooms.

NucBox M8 – A Tiny
PC With a Bold Look

The NucBox
M8 was created by a Red Dot Award-winning team. It uses an all-metal body with
a floating C-shaped frame and soft lighting that gives it a futuristic feel.
Even with its small size, the build looks premium and solid.

Strong
Hardware for Work and Play

Inside, the
M8 runs on the Ryzen 5 PRO 6650H with 6 cores and 12 threads, reaching up to
4.5GHz. It is paired with a Radeon 660M GPU, which can handle light AAA gaming
and creative tasks like photo and video work.

GMKtec uses
fast LPDDR5X 6400MHz memory and a PCIe 4.0 SSD that can go up to 1TB, with
support for expansion up to 8TB.

You can
also switch between three power modes depending on your workload:

  • Silent Mode (28W) for quiet use
  • Balanced Mode (35W) for daily tasks
  • Performance Mode (40W) for full power

Cooler
and Quieter Than Expected

To keep
everything running at the right temperature, GMKtec added a new cooling system
called Arctic Ocean. It uses dual fans, a vapor chamber, and a 3D air intake
design to move heat out quickly.
  • The CPU
gets copper heat pipes and smart fan control.
  • The rest of
the system has its own airflow path to keep the SSD and memory cool.

Even with
the compact size, the M8 stays quiet during normal use.

Plenty
of Ports for Any Setup

The NucBox
M8 comes with a strong set of ports to support creators, gamers, and even multi-monitor users that need to enhance productivity.

  • Front: USB4 (40Gbps, 100W PD, DP1.4),
    OCuLink, USB A 3.2 Gen 2, 3.5mm audio
  • Rear: HDMI 2.0, DP1.4, two USB A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two 2.5G LAN ports
  • Networking: Dual 2.5G Ethernet and Wi-Fi 6

It also
supports triple 4K displays through HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, and USB4, which
is great for work, editing, and streaming.

Made for
Many Environments

Thanks to
its small size, the NucBox M8 works well in almost any setup. GMKtec says it is 1/40
the size and 1/20 the weight of a typical desktop, making it easy to move
around or hide behind a monitor. It’s the perfect device for different types of places and different scenarios.
