Instructions:
Let’s start with preparing the meatballs. Mix the egg with 1 tbsp oil, milk, and breadcrumbs. Add the ground beef, salt, ground pepper and mix thoroughly. Shape the mixture into balls and fry them in a large pan with 2 tbsp oil until golden brown on all sides. Set the fried meatballs aside.

Add butter or ghee to the pan drippings from the meatballs and let it melt. Add the flour, let it fry briefly, and pour in the broth. Whisk the sauce thoroughly to ensure no lumps remain, then add the cream. Season the sauce with soy sauce or coconut amino sauce, Dijon mustard, let it bubble, and remove from the heat. Serve the meatballs covered with sauce, with mashed potatoes and cranberries.
