Adam Cole may be sidelined from the ring, but he’s far from silent. The AEW star and Twitch streamer known as CHUGGS is putting his voice to work in Curiosity, a brand-new rage-platformer that just launched on Steam and Steam Deck.

Developed by DarkBear Studios, Curiosity puts players in the paws of a cat climbing its way home. Think Getting Over It meets Only Up—but with heart, secrets, and real stakes. One wrong jump can send you plummeting back down, and yes, you’ve only got nine lives to burn. Adam Cole’s voice is part of an all-star lineup of streamers and creators lending their vocal talents to the game.

DarkBear Studios was founded by speedrunner and Twitch veteran David “GrandPOOBear” Hunt, who said the idea behind Curiosity was to make a platformer that feels brutal—but has emotional weight and story beneath it.

“We wanted to make something that felt familiar to players who love these brutal climbing games, but with a soul and story that make it worth the struggle,” Hunt explained. “Curiosity is about perseverance, discovery, and the emotional highs and lows that come with both, and we can’t wait for players and streamers to experience it together.”

In addition to Adam Cole, the game also features voice work from other known names in streaming culture like Bloodyfaster, xwater, Patty, Lobosjr, DGRDave, and GrandPOOBear himself. It’s a love letter to creators, designed to challenge players while also becoming a favorite for streaming audiences.

Cole’s involvement in Curiosity marks a fitting detour while he continues to recover from injury. He last appeared at AEW All In, where he announced he was stepping away from in-ring action due to his ongoing health issues. Still, his voice is reaching new audiences in a whole different arena.

Adam Cole may not be throwing superkicks right now, but fans can still hear him in action by diving into Curiosity—now available on Steam and Steam Deck.
