Danielle Fishel is paying homage to her past on Dancing With the Stars’ Dedication Night.
Fishel, 44, shared on the Wednesday, October 8, episode of her podcast “Danielle With the Stars” that former Boy Meets World costar William Daniels will be joining her on the dance floor next week.
“Mr. Feeny himself is going to be on the ballroom floor with me,” Fishel said.
While Fishel will perform a jive with partner Pasha Pashkov, she noted that Daniels is “is going to be on the ballroom floor with us and he’s going to participate in the dance as well.”
To make the moment even better, Fishel shared that she’s performing to the Boy Meets World theme song.
“Saying it out loud feels crazy,” Fishel said. “But yes, we get to dance to the Boy Meets World theme song, the one you all know and love.”
Daniels, 98, starred as school teacher and principal Mr. Feeny, who lived next door to the Matthews family. Fishel, meanwhile, played beloved Toganga, who ended up with Cory Matthews (Ben Savage).
“It’s really a dedication to Bill and the role he has played in my life and the role Boy Meets World has played in my life,” Fishel said on Wednesday.
She continued, “He’s just such an inspiration to so many of us. And to be able to say thank you to him and to give him this kind of a platform for him to receive the love that he deserves is going to be very memorable.”
Fishel went on to tease the routine for Dedication Night, which features celebrities choosing an important figure in their life and honoring them on the ballroom floor — with some even sharing the moment together.

“He is 98 years old. He was a child actor. He’s had the most incredible career,” Fishel told Entertainment Weekly. “I feel like I’m having a second act in my life and in my career at 44 years old. To see him at 98 still going to conventions, he’s gonna be on the ballroom floor next week, and he was part of a show that completely changed my life.”
Fishel also teased that it’s not just Daniels who will be in attendance next week, but some other “special guests” too. “Some people I’m shocked are able to be there, but I’m so happy are able to be there,” she shared.
Fishel and Pashkov were ultimately safe from elimination during the Tuesday, October 7, Disney Night episode, which sent home Hilaria Baldwin and pro Gleb Savchenko.
“We’re going to continue to take the judge’s feedback,” Fishel exclusively told Us Weekly after the episode. “They’re really good at giving us very specific notes. Last week, Carrie Ann [Inaba] gave us the note about our body contact. This week, she noticed that it was significantly better.”
She continued, “So, I’m gonna go home and watch the tape. I’m gonna go back and watch the tape and see if I can see what they’re talking about with the area where there was a bit of a mess up in the Lindy hop. And then I’m just gonna see what I can improve. I just want to get better every week. So, every week, I’m like, ‘Whatever I need to do.’”
Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
