We’ve all been there: running around on a hot day without a water bottle while your thirst is at a maximum. And in spite of grab-and-go drink conveniences, who can justify single-use plastics given the environmental impact and literal expense? Enter the elio, a collapsible water bottle with a mission to keep hydration in vogue. With a super compact form, the bottle folds down into a triangular, pocket-sized case complemented by a handy contrasting strap for increased utility. It can hold up to 750ml when expanded, perfect for bopping around town or various errands without being bogged down by the weight of an insulated bottle.

Get to Know elio

At just over an inch tall when stowed away in its hard case, the elio makes light work of staying hydrated. Simply twist the body where the contrasting line sits and a net-like structure starts to emerge, unfolding as if it was a three-dimensional paper fan. The fully opened bottle also boasts a delightful shape while sitting at an angle when set on its base – an intriguing design choice both ergonomically and visually.

Five colorful, geometric containers with crisscross patterns stand on and around a rectangular platform against a plain white background.

Six tall, triangular water bottles in different colors arranged in a circle, featuring a diamond-patterned mesh design on their sides.

The volume strikes a happy medium as well. Because it’s just under a full liter, it won’t remain heavy in your bag for too long, but it also provides more liquid than typical travel-sized alternatives. When empty, it weighs less than a deck of cards.

Three tall, angular containers with diamond-patterned exteriors stand upright; one is white with green, one red with blue, and one black with white.

Three patterned tumblers in white, red, and black are displayed upright against a plain light background.

What’s more, drinks remain unadulterated by elio’s material properties. The water bottle is made from premium BPA-free, food-grade platinum silicone. Rest assured it is completely plastic-free and odor-free, allowing your water to taste exactly as it should. The elio keeps the act of hydration sleek and simple.

The collapsible design is extremely durable and it’s cage-like, silicone design bounces right back into shape should you drop it or step on it. And thanks to the material, you can throw it in the dishwasher when it’s time to clean!

One for All

From athletes to life-letes, we all need to stay hydrated while on the move. Elio is designed to travel well whether it’s on a long run, a short sprint, at the courts, or on a Sunday drive, collapsing into its modest footprint the moment its contents have been consumed.

Free from silly trappings that defeat the purpose of living unencumbered, elio is a smart response to the pomp and circumstance of bulkier, trend-driven options on the market. Stay light on your feet and refill with whatever you choose whenever you choose.

Not just for those on the move, this water bottle looks chic enough to show off when life slows down. Elio can clip to your belt or bag and even slip in your pocket, an accessory always at the ready.

Express Yourself

Beyond utility, elio provides opportunities for customization and daily expression. “We designed it for function – you decide its form,” the maker shares. It can be used as a color block alongside bag charms, decorative elements hanging from belt loops, or stacked to create colorful totems and coaster on tabletops.

Thanks to a coalescing of rigorous material testing and strict production parameters, this design promises a product sleek enough to display, yet rugged enough to withstand life’s detours off road. Elio is sure to make every journey a little bit easier, giving your body and mind the hydration that it needs to go on.
