After The Hunting Wives got the Saturday Night Live treatment, Brittany Snow has revealed her thoughts on the sketch.

Following last weekend’s parody of the Netflix sapphic drama, the actress praised Chloe Fineman‘s “amazing” impression of her character Sophie and admitted that she always wanted Aubrey Plaza to appear on the show.

“I was just in shock. I mean, I’m just so grateful and just overwhelmed,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “Chloe Fineman did an amazing job encapsulating me and getting my voice right. I was like, ‘Shit, I do sound like that.’”

Snow added, “We always had a pie-in-the-sky idea that maybe Aubrey Plaza would be a part of the show, so seeing her in the skit was very strange. So, we’re hoping one day.”

Featuring host Amy Poehler as Malin Akerman‘s Margo, Netflix’s sendup of the “straight but lesbian, horny Republican murder drama” featured an appearance by Plaza as the “new new girl.”

After Netflix renewed The Hunting Wives for Season 2 last month, Snow gave an update on filming for the series adaptation of the May Cobb novel.

“We go back in a few weeks, actually, so we’re right around the corner,” said Snow. “And I just hope that Sophie makes any good decision. Just one, just one good decision. I’m hoping the best for her, but we’ll see. I doubt it, to be honest. I read [the script] and I’m like, ‘Why?’”
