Cunard’s recently refreshed Queen Elizabeth has arrived at PortMiami for the first time, marking the beginning of a highly anticipated two-season residency in the Caribbean. This is a historic moment for Cunard, which for 185 years has been synonymous with British luxury travel. The ship will homeport in Miami from October to April, offering luxurious nine- to 21-night Caribbean itineraries.

The arrival was celebrated with a plaque-and-key ceremony, led by Patricia Altschul of Bravo’s Southern Charm, highlighting the ship’s blend of sophistication and warmth. PortMiami Director and CEO Hydi Webb commended Cunard’s investment, noting that the addition of Queen Elizabeth enhances Miami’s diverse cruise offerings.

Cunard is introducing new world-class onboard experiences specifically for its Caribbean season. Culinary highlights include Karibe, a new dining concept featuring Caribbean coastal cuisine, and “The Whispering Hour,” a happy hour with Whispering Angel wines. Guests can also enjoy locally inspired street food, tropical cocktails, and special Sunset Celebrations on the Lido Deck.

The entertainment program is equally ambitious, featuring nearly 120 limited-time theatrical performances. This includes the first-ever at-sea production of the musical Come From Away, as well as performances by Broadway and West End stars, including Tony Award-winner Sutton Foster. The Commodore Club has been reimagined as the Abbey Road Listening Lounge, offering legendary recordings and film soundtracks, complemented by guest lectures from prominent figures like Olympic medalists and astronauts.

Following its refresh earlier this year, Queen Elizabeth boasts revitalized spaces, including an enhanced Royal Court Theatre, a redesigned Queens Room, a new Lido Pool Club, and refined Grills Suites with elevated amenities. Caribbean voyages will explore both Eastern and Western Caribbean routes, with rates starting from $1,078 per person. After its Caribbean tenure, Queen Elizabeth will reposition to Seattle for its second and final season of Alaskan voyages in summer 2026.
