Adidas Originals and Wales Bonner are continuing their successful collaborative relationship with a fall 2025 collection featuring a satin version of the Karintha Lo sneaker style, among other products, launching on Friday.
With their new collection, the athletic giant and the British designer Grace Wales Bonner — who was recently named the new menswear creative director at Hermès — carry on their joint exploration of the overlap between sporting legacy and cultural heritage to share a narrative of craft, design and materiality.
Reimagining the signature DNA of Adidas, Wales Bonner puts on a spin on athletic codes with elegant tailoring. In addition to footwear, the collection encompasses apparel items like blousons, jackets, tracksuits and jerseys as well as two leather bowling bags in the accessories realm.

The Karintha Lo, previously presented in suede and sequin iterations, now boasts the shine of satin for its third version, pushing the boundaries of the definition of an Adidas shoe. The slim-soled sneaker, which came out in May with the joint spring 2025 collection, is Wales Bonner’s original silhouette borne of the collaboration between the designer and Adidas, who dropped their first collection together in 2020.
The buzzy Karintha Lo style, fitting in with a trend toward low-profile shoes, has taken on many different materials. Earlier this year, at a Wales Bonner Paris Fashion Week presentation, a version with a handwoven leather upper was teased, alongside the revived Y-3 Field sneaker in different colorways. The latter is in collaboration with Adidas Y-3, a fashion sub-line designed by Yohji Yamamoto.
The Karintha Lo has received celebrity appreciation as well. Bad Bunny, who also collaborates with Adidas, put his stamp of approval on the tan suede option of the Karintha Lo on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” over the summer.

Reimagined classic sneaker silhouettes round out the fall 2025 collection. The WB Japan is offered in lavender, which the brand notes has a historical association with serenity and purity. The collection also presents the WB Superstar, which roots the collaboration in iconic sports heritage through the lens of craft, and a WB Adilette, a slide style taken to the next level with “a considered human touch.”

Chris Rhodes shot the campaign, which interweaves the personal narratives of an eclectic cast, including Gene Gallagher, Alva Claire, Shim Mheuka and Bebe Parnell; the portraits spotlight a counter-culture energy.
