Emirates is celebrating a remarkable period of recognition, securing a suite of prestigious awards this month that firmly establish its position as a global leader in air travel luxury and service. Accolades include ‘Best International Airline’, ‘Best International First Class’, and ‘Best International Airline Lounge’ from the Forbes Travel Guide Verified Air Travel Awards, along with honors from the World Travel Awards and The Times and Sunday Times Travel Awards 2025.

The Dubai-based carrier won ‘Best International Airline’ for the second consecutive year, with frequent fliers and industry experts praising its continuous refinement of the passenger experience. Noteworthy enhancements cited include an opulent, lounge-like check-in area for First Class and the distinction of being the first autism-certified airline, having trained over 30,000 staff to assist travelers with autism.

Emirates’ First Class offerings are clearly setting industry benchmarks. It secured ‘Best International First Class’ for its Boeing 777-300ER private suites, which provide floor-to-ceiling doors, zero-gravity seats, and luxury amenities. The First Class Lounge in Dubai, which offers gourmet dining, a cigar bar, and the convenience of direct boarding from the lounge, was also named the best international lounge. Furthermore, Emirates was voted ‘Best Long-Haul Airline’ in The Times and The Sunday Times Travel Awards for its cabin crew service, A380 showers, and continued network expansion, which recently connected the Middle East to new destinations like Shenzhen and Siem Reap.
