Happy Halloween! Welcome to this edition of Friday Favorites, they’re frighteningly good!

Let’s start with last weekend and the fun we had because that is always a favorite! Saturday was a busy day starting with a visit from family. Through ancestry, my brother connected with second cousins – one of whom lives in FL (about 2 hours away). What a great visit we had! They are second cousins from my dad’s side of the family. It was so nice to get together with them and share stories. And you know what? I feel a connection to these fabulous people and can hardly wait to see them again!

You know how much I love a tribute band, right? Well, last Saturday night we went with our besties to see a Boston tribute band. They were phenomenal!

On Sunday our church hosted Trunk or Treat and we actually participated! It dawned on me a few weeks ago when they announced it was time to register that my husband and I are the exact people who should be doing this! We never get to pass out candy because no one really comes on our street to trick or treat. The only problem? I am not creative, luckily a friend told me that Amazon sells Trunk or Treat kits!

Since we had terrible rain storms the event was moved inside one of the church buildings. It was so much fun! I can’t wait to do it again next year – and we will use the same kit!

One frighteningly good find was this pack of socks from Walmart. They are under $11 and so cute! I got them to wear with my boots and booties but they’d be fabulous with loafers. Socks and loafers are so trendy right now! They’d also make a great Christmas gift or sticking stuffer!

On Thursday it was cold! Like 55 degrees at 9am – that is WINTER here in FL! This is what I wore to an appointment. I did bring a coat because it’s Florida and 55 degrees is freezing. These leopard pants though are frighteningly good and so is this sweater. BTW, I cut about 2 inches off the hem of these pants (I am almost 5’4″).

One more frighteningly good favorite from the week? This dress! You GUYS! It is $32 and how cute is this for the holidays? I am wearing an XS in this dress – it runs a little big.

One last thing, I hope you’ll check out my friend Marsha’s post from Thursday. I hope you’ll give it a read, I think it will resonate with so many of us – I know it struck a chord with me. I actually had the pleasure of meeting Marsha in Indiana a few years ago and she is truly a wonderful woman.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I appreciate you being here. Please consider signing up to receive my posts by email and following me on Instagram and Pinterest.
