Manchester United midfield stars Jess Park and Ella Toone have both been shortlisted for October’s PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award.

Park is enjoying a meteoric rise at United since joining the club from cross-town rivals Manchester City during the summer transfer window.
She arrived as part of a swap deal that involved Grace Clinton going the other way. Park has wasted no time in making her mark at United.
Her performances have been nothing short of breathtaking, the highlight of which was last month in the 4-1 win over Everton. The England international came off the bench and netted a stunning brace to put the game to bed at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
It was a fairytale October for Park, who won both United and the WSL’s Player of the Month awards.
Despite not scoring against Chelsea or Everton, Toone remained a consistently reliable player for United. She assisted both of Park’s goals vs. Everton.
A formidable midfield partnership is developing between the two, providing a significant tactical advantage for United.
Marc Skinner’s long-held belief that Park and Toone could be United’s difference-makers is now being vindicated as the pair have emerged as two of the team’s most decisive players.

Park and Toone nominated for PFA prize
To claim the accolade, Park and Toone will have to ward off significant competition from four other players.
The other contenders for the award are Elena Linari (London City Lionesses), Erin Cuthbert (Chelsea), Kerstin Casparij (Manchester City) and Lynn Wilms (Aston Villa).
