Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is one of the year’s most celebrated games, and if you’ve been on the fence about diving in, this weekend is your perfect opportunity. Beginning today, November 6, and until Monday, November 10, players can jump into the critically acclaimed medieval RPG free of charge on Xbox and Steam.

The full 50+ hour game will be made available, and any progress made during this free weekend can be transferred to the purchased version, should players opt to buy it. This free weekend coincides with a sale with savings of up to 40 percent off. This sale lasts until November 13 on Steam and November 19 on Xbox.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II launched on February 4 and serves as a direct sequel starring protagonist Henry as he endures new trials in 15th-century Europe. The game has been widely praised for its immersive (and challenging) gameplay, exploration, and storytelling. We awarded the game a 9.5 out of 10 in our review, with editor Wesley LeBlanc saying, “KCD2 is challenging, demanding, and often unforgiving. But, like the sharp blades I smithed in-game, through fire, it forges an exciting, surprising, and unforgettable fable.”

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
