Three World of Nintendo Metroid Prime action figure packs from Jakks Pacific are available at Walmart. All three are officially licensed by Nintendo and listed for budget-friendly prices. For $25, fans can get a 6-inch Metroid figure with UV lighting. Walmart also has a pair of smaller action figure 3-packs for $15 each. The Metroid Prime Bounty Hunter Diorama Set includes Samus Aran and two Metroids, while the Chozo Power Suit Figure Set features Samus in three different suits.
The $15 Metroid Prime action figure bundles are exclusive to Walmart, but the $25 Metroid figure is expected to be sold soon at Amazon and Target, too. Interested Metroid fans probably shouldn’t wait too long to buy the new figures. Jakks Pacific has only made a few Metroid action figures in recent years, and the prices ballooned in a hurry. Last year’s Samus Phazon Suit 4-inch figure retailed for $11 and now sells for $20-$30. The 2023 Samus Varia Suit 4-inch figure is even harder to find and is frequently listed for $40-$50.

$15 | Walmart Exclusive
The Bounty Hunter set features a 2.5-inch Samus Aran figure and two Metroid figures that also measure 2.5 inches across.
Identical 2.5-inch Metroid figures are frequently listed for over $20–and that’s just for one of them. Getting two Metroid figures and one Samus figure for $15 is an incredible bargain compared to the reseller market over the last few years.
$15 | Walmart Exclusive
The Chozo Power Suit Set includes three 2.5-inch Samus figures, each one with a different suit. The Varia Suit figure–Samus’ most iconic look–looks to be the same figure included in the Bounty Hunter set.
This three-pack also comes with Samus in her Phazon Suit and Samus in her Gravity Suit.
The Chozo Power Suit Set originally launched in 2019 as a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive. The figures look the same in the new one, but the artwork on the box has been updated. The original is often listed for double or triple Walmart’s price.
Nintendo fans should also check out the newly released Donkey Kong Family action figure 4-pack. Exclusive to Target, the Kong Family collection comes with 2.5-inch figures of DK, Diddy, Dixie, and Cranky Kong for only $20.
The Metroid series doesn’t get anywhere close to as much official merch and collectibles as other major Nintendo franchises like Super Mario, Kirby, and The Legend of Zelda. The limited selection and passionate fan base
That’s a big reason why the newly released Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Samus Aran Amiibo and Samus & Vi-O-La Amiibo have sold out numerous times since preorders first opened–and why the upcoming Sylux Amiibo sells out multiple times each week on Amazon.
Fans can also add stylish new Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Amiibo figures to their display shelves. Two of the new figures launched November 6: Samus in a combat pose and Samus on her new Vi-O-La motorbike. Preorders sold out numerous times at major retailers, but Amazon restocked both Samus figures earlier this week, just in time for launch day. The new Samus Amiibo is $30 and Samus & Vi-O-La Amiibo is $40.
You can complete your Metroid Prime 4 Amiibo collection by preordering the Sylux Amiibo ahead of its December 4 launch–the same day as the game for Switch 1/2. Note: If you want to preorder Sylux from Amazon, it tends to sell out multiple times each week, so we’d recommend checking regularly.

For Nintendo Switch and Switch 2
PowerA recently launched several officially licensed Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 accessories themed around Metroid Prime. The official carrying case has Metroid Prime 4: Beyond key art, and the crossbody bag has Metroid Prime Trilogy art. The carrying case is for Switch 2, while the crossbody bag is for original Switch consoles; you need to remove the Joy-Con 2 Controllers to use the bag with Switch 2.
The PowerA Enhanced Wireless Controller has a space theme and features Samus in her Varia Suit. The controller has remappable back buttons, motion controls, and runs for up to 30 hours on a full charge.
PowerA’s Metroid-themed wired gaming earbuds come with a Metroid Prime Trilogy drawstring pouch. You can snag a pair of Metroid earbuds for less than $18 at Amazon.
Speaking of Metroid Prime Trilogy, the official Metroid Prime 1-3 Visual Retrospective released October 28. It’s a beautiful 212-page clothbound hardcover with foil-etched metallic cover art. The retrospective looks back at the Metroid Prime Trilogy and the Switch remaster of the first game. As a longtime Metroid fan, I am pleased to report the retrospective was worth the wait. I’d highly recommend picking up a copy if you love the Prime series. Metroid Prime 1-3: A Visual Retrospective was designed by Piggyback, the publisher behind the highly rated Legend of Zelda strategy guides for Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild.
If you haven’t preordered your copy of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, the Nintendo Switch 2 physical edition is available for $70, and the Switch edition is $60. Since it’s published by Nintendo, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond’s full game file is stored on the Switch 2 game card. Check out GameSpot’s Metroid Prime 4 preorder guide for more details. The long-awaited sequel launches December 4.
