Carnival Cruise Line has happily announced its new 2027/2028 deployment schedule, featuring the Carnival Sunrise offering a fantastic variety of short, fun itineraries from its premier departure point, PortMiami. Beginning May 6, 2027, the ship will sail over 70 voyages through spring 2028, focusing on popular four- to six-day escapes to The Bahamas and the Caribbean.
A major highlight of these sailings is the inclusion of Carnival’s two exceptional exclusive destinations. Guests will have the joy of visiting Celebration Key, which offers five distinct zones for relaxation and family fun, and RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, known for its pristine beaches and tranquil atmosphere. Many itineraries also feature calls to Nassau, ensuring a wonderful mix of beloved ports and new, signature Carnival experiences.
The Carnival Sunrise will also host two special six-day holiday sailings in 2027. The Thanksgiving cruise in November will visit Celebration Key, Grand Cayman, and Montego Bay, Jamaica. The Christmas sailing in December promises festive cheer with calls at Celebration Key, Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic, and Grand Turk in the Turks & Caicos Islands. This expanded deployment underscores Carnival’s commitment to providing guests with convenient, value-packed getaways that showcase the best of the Caribbean.
