* Card rating is based on the opinion of TPG’s editors and is not influenced by the card issuer.
Since its launch in 2021, the Capital One Venture X has been a major player in the premium card space. It offers luxury benefits like airport lounge access and a valuable travel credit for a reasonable annual fee.
Since 2023, the business version of the card — the Venture X Business — has been available. It has the same $395 annual fee and many of the same benefits we’ve come to love in the Venture X. Key perks include generous airport lounge access, an annual travel credit and the option to add employee cards for no additional cost.
The major difference between the personal and business offerings is the welcome offer, with the business version offering a much more lucrative bonus.
TPG recommends an excellent credit score of 740 or above for this card.

Capital One Venture X Business welcome offer
The Capital One Venture X Business is offering a limited-time tiered welcome bonus to those who can meet its high spending requirement. New applicants can earn up to 400,000 bonus miles: 200,000 bonus miles after spending $30,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening and an additional 200,000 miles after spending $150,000 on purchases in the first six months.
According to TPG’s November 2025 valuations, this welcome bonus is worth up to $7,400. This is the highest bonus we’ve seen offered on this card. The previous best-ever bonus offered up to 350,000 bonus miles (no longer available), but required a gigantic $200,000 in spending. This offer still requires an exorbitant $150,000 in spending to fully maximize.

These two benefits alone more than offset the card’s $395 annual fee.

Earning miles with the Capital One Venture X Business
With the Venture X Business, you’ll earn:

- 5 miles per dollar spent on flights and vacation rentals purchased through Capital One Business Travel (9.25% return)

This simple earning structure means you won’t have to worry about whether your purchase falls in a bonus-earning category.
However, suppose you spend a significant portion of your business budget on categories such as shipping and advertising. In that case, you might find that you’ll get a better return on your spending with a different business credit card.
