Shedding fresh light on the “small patterns we repeat in our everyday lives,” Los Angeles-based multi-media artist and fashion designer Tommy Bogo of TOMBOGO has just launched the Monogram Collection of iPhone 16 + 17 cases, tripod stands, and tripod wallets with equally forward-looking and format-defying producer MOFT. Reflecting both entities’ desire to challenge the conventions of function and iconography, the fresh offering also stems from a re-assessment of what’s actually needed in our increasingly nomadic times.

All of this is achieved without skimping on style – closely reflecting Bogo’s now well-cultivated aesthetic – or material intelligence – making good use of MOFT’s proprietary and eco-friendly MOVAS™ performance vegan leather. It’s more durable and stain-resistent but also more malleable than traditional animal byproducts.

Tying everything together is the balanced appearance of the multivalent creative’s, distinctively minimalist but softened, cross-form and rounded-edge monogram. The logo is consistently emblazoned or embossed across the accessories in a slightly abstracted yet still boldly decipherable pattern; a balance emulating the inherent concept of the collection.

“This second installment of our collaboration (the Creative Commuter collection debuted in 2023) really reinforces how much I align with MOFT’s design ethos,” Bogo says. “I literally use their phone accessories every day. The new Monogram design reflects my daily routines and the patterns that these tools are a part of – always with me, every step of the way.”

Finding an equilibrium between new modes of efficiency – a seamless ease of use – but also a more measured and tempered understanding of how we carry out our daily tasks is the focus here. These devices are constantly but not jarringly fading in and out of view as essential extensions of our quotidien. The palette of gray and black accentuates that thinking. As much as these are statement pieces, they still get the job done. They’re portable, purposeful, and “deeply symbolic of life in motion.”

“This collection is about mobility as a way of living,” says Julianna He, MOFT Founder and CEO. “Our tools give people the freedom to move easily through their day, from work to world, from function to expression. With the TOMBOGO monogram, that idea is expressed in a new cultural context.”

While the Snap Phone Case is slim, protective, and features a raised camera edge, the Snap Phone Tripod Wallet is a clever multifunctional component. It goes flat for light travel but swivels into a multi-angle stand for various uses, all while holding three cards at a time. The Carry Sleeve (out in 2026) – ideal for various types of laptops – combines the best of both worlds in a sense. Crafted from MOFT’s signature thin vegan leather and reinforced with recycled fiberglass, the case is slim but also sturdy enough to double as an ergonomic stand.
