Today, Microsoft revealed what’s in store for Xbox Game Pass subscribers heading into December, and it’s good news if roguelike action RPGs, scenic car trips, and 1990s summer vibes are your thing. It’s even better news if you like superhero beat ‘em ups with a slick retro vibe. Marvel Cosmic Invasion is now a day-one Game Pass release on console and PC.

The latest batch of new games heading to Xbox’s on-demand service starts arriving tomorrow, November 19:

  • Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault (Game Preview) (PC) – November 19 Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass
  • Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo (Cloud, Console, and PC) – November 19 Now with Game Pass Premium
  • Revenge of the Savage Planet (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – November 19 Now with Game Pass Premium
  • Monsters are Coming! Rock & Road (Handheld & PC) – November 20 Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass
  • The Crew Motorfest (Cloud, Console, and PC) – November 20 Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass
  • Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – November 25 Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass
  • Kill It With Fire! 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC) – November 25 Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass

  • Lost Records: Bloom & Rage (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – December 2 Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass

Easily one of the highlights of December, Marvel Cosmic Invasion is the latest from the wizards over at Dotemu and Tribute Games, which brought us 2022’s splendid retro-styled beat ‘em up Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. Cosmic Invasion takes the arcade brawler vibe and injects it with superheroes like Wolverine and Spider-Man as they save New York City from an alien invasion, one punch, blast, and tag-team power at a time. But if superhero brawls aren’t your thing, a few other highlights include The Crew Motorfest, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, and Revenge of the Savage Planet, among others.

As is tradition, some games are also leaving Xbox’s subscription service. You have until November 30 to squeeze the most you can out of the following games:

  •     Barbie Project Friendship
  •     Lords of the Fallen
  •     Octopath Traveler
  •     Octopath Traveler II
  •     SteamWorld Build

You can snag some of these games permanently for up to a 20-percent discount as well until then.
