AEW just raised the stakes for Blood & Guts—and they did it with two of the most iconic names in wrestling history.
Right before the main event of the November 8 AEW Collision, Tony Schiavone informed the crowd with a major announcement: Ric Flair and Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat will both be appearing at AEW Dynamite: Blood & Guts on November 12 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The legendary rivalry between Flair and Steamboat helped define an era—and now they’re set to return to the site of some of their most iconic clashes. Their appearance at the First Horizon Coliseum adds even more gravity to a night that’s already shaping up to be one of AEW’s most violent and chaotic ever.
Fans aren’t sleeping on it either. it was reported earlier today that AEW has already distributed 4,422 tickets out of the 5,125 setup for the event, with only 703 seats remaining. That’s a jump of +905 tickets in just three days, and AEW has opened new seating sections to meet demand.
What’s got fans rushing in? AEW is delivering not just one, but two double-cage matches on the same show. With a 2.5-hour runtime planned, this is clearly no ordinary Dynamite. And now, with Flair and Steamboat walking into the building, the legacy of Greensboro wrestling history just got even richer.
