Royal Caribbean Group is expanding its signature Royal Beach Club concept to Europe, selecting the iconic Greek island of Santorini for a new club set to open in summer 2026. The facility, which will host passengers from both Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises, aims to blend the island’s unique volcanic beaches with the company’s branded vacation experiences. This addition is part of a broader strategy to increase the group’s portfolio of land-based destinations from two to eight by 2028.

The Santorini club is designed to be part of an “Ultimate Santorini Day” experience, which also includes time for guests to explore the famous towns of Oia and Fira. A key objective of the new beach club is to alleviate congestion on the island by better managing and distributing the flow of arriving cruise passengers across three separate locations, thereby minimizing crowding in popular spots.

This expansion reflects Royal Caribbean Group’s commitment to offering guests more ways to enjoy unforgettable experiences. The Santorini project joins a growing list of new land-based destinations set to open, including the first Royal Beach Club in The Bahamas launching this December, the Royal Beach Club Cozumel in Mexico (2026), a resort in Chile (2026), Perfect Day Mexico (2027), and a Royal Beach Club in the South Pacific (2028). Existing destinations include Perfect Day at CocoCay and Labadee in Haiti.
