Smallville alum Allison Mack has revealed the identity of her new husband more than two years following her prison release.

Us Weekly confirmed in June that Mack, 43, had gotten married in an “intimate” backyard wedding. Photos released at the time showed that they tied the knot underneath a traditional Jewish chuppah, but other details about her husband were not revealed — until now.

Mack was “walking her dog” in February 2024 when she met Frank Meeink, who was described as “an attractive, heavily tattooed guy in his late 40s with slick back hair,” in the seventh episode of the “Allison After NXIVM” podcast.

The podcast host, journalist Natalie Robehmed, describes Meeink, 50, as a “renowned former neo-Nazi” who has been in and out of the prison system since he was 17. He was arrested for kidnapping and almost killing a man. When Meeink was in prison, he started to deradicalize his beliefs and “left the white supremacist movement” in the 1990s after he was released.

The podcast, which includes new interviews with Mack and Meeink, reveals that Meeink now “works at a nonprofit with unhoused people” and connects them to resources.

“He does public speaking and civil rights activism on the side, even testifying in front of a house subcommittee in 2020 on white supremacy in policing,” Robehmed revealed. “In some ways, Frank is a poster boy for changing your mind.”

After Meeink first met Mack, he invited her to the restaurant that he worked at.

“He was a waiter at a Thai restaurant up the street, like a local neighborhood place,” Mack said. She went into the restaurant days later with her mom, Mindy.

“He had told the whole staff that I was going to be coming in sometime this week, and to call him boss because he wanted them to make it look like he was more important in the restaurant than he was,” she recalled.

Meeink told them that he was a public speaker, focusing on “tolerance and de-radicalization and police reform.” He and Mack immediately connected because she is “really passionate about prison reform.”

After they went on their first date, Mack told Meeink “everything” about her experience in NXIVM. Mack asked Meeink if he judged her because of her past.

“I just looked at her and said, you know, I’m a former neo-Nazi who used to kidnap people,” Meeink recalled. “Do you think I have any room to judge you? … No, I don’t judge you at all.”

Mack was arrested in April 2018 for allegedly recruiting women to the sex cult, along with identity fraud and money laundering. Mack pleaded guilty to charges of racketeering and racketeering conspiracy. She was sentenced to three years but spent 21 months behind bars before being released in July 2023.

“From the work that I’ve done with former jihadists, former gangbangers, former neo-Nazis, I mean, I’ve worked in that world for a long time,” Meeink said during the podcast. “I think people don’t understand what it’s like when you get stuck in something like that. And it’s the one thing that validates you. It’s hard to get out.”
