There are three reasons why you should not drink Red Bull energy drinks:
-First, drinking one 12 ounce can of Red Bull can significantly increase heart rate and blood pressure within 90 minutes of having the drink for up to 24 hours. The increase in heart rate and blood pressure is largely due to the caffeine content in Red Bull as each can contains 108 mg of caffeine. Although occasional consumption of Red Bull in healthy individuals is unlikely to lead to any serious side effects, excessive consumption particularly in younger individuals can lead to abnormal heart rhythm and even heart attacks.
-Second, research has shown an association between drinking Red Bull and high-risk behavior especially when combined with alcohol. When mixed together, caffeine masks the effects of alcohol making you feel less intoxicated while still experiencing alcohol rated impairments.
-Third, red bull is a highly acidic beverage and the regular consumption of Highly acidic beverages could damage your teeth enamel and digestive system over time.
