The company is known for its approach to upcycling wood waste and transforming it into high-quality products for the hospitality industry. The manufacturing facility was originally planned to open in Buckhannon but due to environmental challenges they pivoted to Fairmont.

Company leaders said the ribbon cutting symbolized the journey of the company.

“A culmination of a very long journey starting with a basic product that was manufactured overseas, through the experience of going on Shark Tank, deciding to bring manufacturing into the U.S., finding a location, finding the right state, finding the right structure. I would say that this is, to see this all come to fruition after about two to three year process, feels very good,” Oron Franco, founder & COO of Prime 6 said.

At the facility they currently have a team of around 20 people and hope to grow that number as they prepare to open the facility.

They also plan to bring Prime 6 culture to Fairmont.

“I think we’re bringing the Prime 6 DNA as a corporation that is different than what is usually being done in manufacturing. Our DNA is a lot more work-life balance, considering a lot of factors into an employment, making sure that we get the right people with the right state of mind here. Just building a culture that people feel comfortable and want to continue to grow within the company and continue to push it forward,” Riki Franco, founder & CEO of Prime 6 said.

They hope to grow the community of Fairmont as well.

“The ripple effect of us growing will just generate more business, more work, more growth for the entire area and we hope to keep it up and help support all the businesses that are around us,” Oron Franco said.

They plan to fully launch the facility in January. WDTV said it is a $35 million investment that will create up to 100 jobs.
