The OnePlus 15 launch is imminent in China, and the leaks have been popping up in the past few days. Despite the nearing launch, there is still a full week before October 13. But this isn’t stopping one of the biggest leaks about the new flagship. Today, most of its specifications have been leaked, along with some images that seem to be part of the launch marketing campaign. At this point, there won’t be surprises left for the actual launch date.
OnePlus 15 Specifications Revealed in New Leak
According to the latest Weibo leak, the OnePlus 15 will come with a 6.78-inch BOE X3 AMOLED display. It will have a 1.5K resolution with LTPO technology and a dynamic refresh rate that goes from 1 Hz to 165Hz. The panel also has Dolby Vision and Pro XDR support, with 1,800 nits of brightness.
Under the hood, no surprises as the phone packs the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It comes with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The memory tiers will include 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB. The availability of these memory tiers will differ per region. The device will feature Wind Chi Kernel 2.0 tech on board.
In terms of optics, the OnePlus 15 will have a 50 MP triple camera setup. There will be a Sony LYT-700 sensor on the main camera with OIS. The device also has two Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensors. One has a 0.6x ultrawide snapper and one for the 3.5x telephoto shooter with OIS.
7,000mAh Battery and 120W Fast-Charging
The leak also reveals a large 7,300mAh battery with 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support. The device comes with a new generation of linear dual speakers, a large volume vibration motor, and a new generation wet hand touch algorithm. Other features include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a new generation cooling system, multi-function NFC and IR Blaster, plus a USB Type-C 3.1 Gen1 port.
The pricing of the phone is one of the few mysteries that remain. The phone will be available in Purple, Titanium, or Black color options. According to the leaks, OnePlus will launch the device globally in November.
