Many international business leaders as they’re thinking about investment are quite happy to fly to Nairobi or Kampala but spend I don’t know how many 8 hours driving a hundred miles outside of that in Kenya or Uganda investment doesn’t extend that far And so these areas are largely impoverished isolated fragmented and frequently a little lawless And so that has prevented investment in these enormous underdeveloped potentially large growth areas They’ve been overlooked by corporations certainly over the last 20 years of globalization but they’re not going to be overlooked that much longer
