Emirates has unveiled a groundbreaking facility in Dubai, the Emirates Centre of Hospitality Excellence, an 8-million-dollar investment designed to provide world-class training to its nearly 25,000 cabin crew. This new learning zone offers a luxurious and immersive experience, focusing on elevating the art of hospitality to Michelin-star standards. By the end of the year, over 10,000 cabin crew members will benefit from this exceptional training environment.

The Centre is a beacon of the elevated hospitality strategy developed in collaboration with the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland since 2020. It embodies Emirates’ four pillars of hospitality: excellence, attentiveness, innovation, and passion. Cabin crew will engage in advanced service training, including fine dining protocols, premium guest engagement, and sophisticated table service. Thomas Ney, Emirates’ DSVP of Service Delivery, highlighted that this investment allows crew to truly understand and deliver unforgettable signature moments, experiencing the gourmet cuisine and ambiance they will offer to passengers.

A highlight of the Centre is the unique opportunity for cabin crew to dine as guests, savoring a 4-course gourmet lunch curated by Emirates’ master chefs, replicating First and Business Class dishes. This immersive experience, served by elite training staff, models 7-star hospitality firsthand. Additionally, bespoke culinary sessions in a professional training kitchen allow crew to master the art of plating, while “The Art of Service” course focuses on emotional intelligence, personalized interactions, and anticipating guest needs. The Centre also hosts L’art du Vin wine training, further enhancing the crew’s expertise. This commitment to continuous, high-level training ensures Emirates continues to “fly better” and deliver outstanding service globally.
