Welcome to Wrestling Inc.’s live coverage for “AEW Dynamite” on October 22, 2025, coming to you live from the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas!

Coming off their successful defense against La Faccion Ingobernable’s Rush, Dralistico, and The Beast Mortos during last Wednesday’s edition of “Dynamite”, The Opps will be putting the AEW World Trios Championship on the line as they defend against The Hurt Syndicate. Not only did Bobby Lashley, MVP, and Shelton Benjamin defeated The Demand at AEW WrestleDream in a Number One Contenders Tornado Tag Team Match to secure their spot in tonight’s match, but Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata shocked many this past Saturday when they left “Hangman” Adam Page laid out with an attack after Joe was unsuccessful in dethroning Page as AEW World Champion.

Another championship will be up for grabs, as one half of the AEW World Tag Team Champions Bandido challenges Kazuchika Okada for the AEW Unified Championship. This will mark Okada’s first title match since retaining against Mascara Dorada and his Don Callis Family Konosuke Takeshita in a Three-Way Match at AEW All Out on September 20, with Bandido and his tag team partner Brody King having retained their title against him and the aforementioned Takeshita at WrestleDream.

Additionally, the bracket for the upcoming AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament to crown the inaugural two titleholders is set to be revealed tonight.

We are live! Excalibur, Taz, and Bryan Danielson greet audiences at home and run down the card before throwing it to a video of some of the highlights from WrestleDream.

The Opps then make their way to the ring. The Hurt Syndicate follows.

The Opps (c) vs. The Hurt Syndicate for the AEW World Trios Championship

All six men stare one another down before Shelton Benjamin and Katsuyori Shibata begin the action. The bell rings and the two lock up. Benjamin runs over Shibata with a clothesline, then tags in Bobby Lashley. Samoa Joe tags in, but Lashley catches him with a flatliner and tags Benjamin back in.

Benjamin ascends to the top rope, then looks to fly. Joe moves out of the way, then tags in Powerhouse Hobbs. Benjamin rocks Hobbs with a spinning back heel kick, but Hobbs clotheslines Benjamin out of the ring. Lashley clotheslines Hobbs out of the ring, but Shibata takes down Lashley. MVP then levels Shibata.

Back from the break, Shibata jams his boot into Benjamin. Joe tags in and wears down Benjamin with a submission hold, then fires off stomps on him in the corner. Benjamin and Joe then exchange chops with one another, but Lashley and Shibata tag in. Lashley runs over Shibata with a pair of clotheslines and sends him crashing into the mat face first.

MVP and Joe tag in, and MVP sends Joe’s face bouncing off his knee. MVP lands an elbow drop on Joe and goes for a pin, but Shibata breaks the fall. MVP then sets up for his finisher on Joe, but The Demand run down to the ring. Ricochet hops up on the apron to distract MVP, opening the door for Joe to cinch in the Coquina Clutch on MVP, and MVP taps out.

Winners (and still): The Opps

After the match, The Hurt Syndicate chases The Demand up the entrance ramp. Tony Schiavone gets in the ring and asks Joe why he betrayed “Hangman” Adam Page. Joe says it’s simply because he exists and will hunt Page as long as he’s champion, officially putting him on notice.

Darby Allin then makes his way to the ring.

We Hear From Darby Allin

Allin says a lot of people called him irresponsible when he climbed Mount Everest and said he couldn’t be the face of the company because of that. He says he would argue the exact opposite and says he’s willing to die for AEW, then says the marks on his body from WrestleDream tell a story. He says he was never going to quit against Jon Moxley on Saturday, then says he knows The Death Riders won’t disappear just like that. Allin says as long as The Death Riders are breathing, he won’t be far behind them.

Willow Nightingale, Harley Cameron, Queen Aminata, Jamie Hayter, Megan Bayne, Penelope Ford, and Triangle Of Madness then make their way to the ring.

Skye Blue and Nightingale begin the action. The bell rings and the two lock up. Cameron tags in and Nightingale assists Cameron in landing an elbow on Blue in the corner. Nightingale delivers a spinning slam to Blue, then sends Cameron crashing on top of Blue. Blue responds by levelling Cameron with a thrust kick, but Ford tags herself in. Blue gets in Ford’s face, but Cameron fires off knees on Ford’s midsection. Bayne then tags in and looks to land a double suplex on Cameron with Ford, but Nightingale comes to Ford’s aid.

Hayter tags herself in and sends Ford crashing off the apron with a boot. She fires off forearms on Bayne, then tags in Aminata. Bayne delivers a double suplex to Aminata and Hayter, then lands a tope suicida on several competitors on the outside as Ford delivers a moonsault to them off the top rope.
