Lori Loughlin, Mossimo Giannulli Find Buyer for Home Amid Split

Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli have reportedly found a buyer for their Los Angeles home.

The estranged spouses listed the 11,800-square-foot mansion for $16.5 million back in February. The property, located in L.A.’s Hidden Hills area and now valued at nearly $15 million, is under contract from a buyer, People reported on Wednesday, October 22, citing a Zillow listing.

The house has a modern farmhouse aesthetic, with a black-and-white exterior and open, airy interiors. There are six bedrooms, a gym, a wine cellar and a home theater as well as a swimming pool and bocce ball court. 

As Us Weekly previously reported, Loughlin, 61, and Giannulli, 62, dropped the asking price of the mansion from $16.5 million to $14.9 million on July 7. The former couple purchased the estate in August 2020 for $9.5 million.

Earlier this month, Loughlin and Giannulli announced they were separating after 27 years of marriage.

“They are living apart and taking a break from their marriage. There are no legal proceedings at this time,” Loughlin’s rep Elizabeth Much told People at the time.

They are parting ways six years after presenting a united front during the 2019 controversy involving daughters Olivia Jade Giannulli and Bella Giannulli. Loughlin and Giannulli were accused of paying $500,000 for their kids to gain acceptance to the University of Southern California. They pleaded guilty to wire and mail fraud charges. 

The Full House alum was sentenced to two months in prison, while Giannulli received a five-month sentence. Loughlin was released from prison in late 2020 and Giannulli followed in April 2021.

Last year, Loughlin sat down for her first major interview since her prison release. Without speaking directly about the low point in her life, she said, “Every day, we’re met with different obstacles. But, for me, it’s like that song says, ‘I get knocked down, but I get up again.’”

A source exclusively told Us Weekly on October 9 that Loughlin was struggling with the separation. 

“People around Lori and Mossimo have known they have been going through a really hard time in the last year,” the source said. “This isn’t a shock to people around them. It has been a rough time for Lori. She is devastated.”

The insider noted that Loughlin “thought a break could help” her relationship with Giannulli, but “they are not on the same page.”

“They will not reconcile — there is currently no chance — and will ultimately divorce,” the source said, adding at the time that Giannulli had “been on dates” since the split but Loughlin “has not.”

Meanwhile, Olivia and Bella are “definitely upset” but “aren’t surprised,” a source told Us in an exclusive on October 10. “They had seen the way their parents were interacting in the last year and knew this was coming. It was not a shock to anyone in the family.”
