Holland America Line is enhancing its Caribbean cruise experience for the 2025 to 2026 season, which runs from October to April, by integrating new regional dishes and island-inspired cocktails. This culinary expansion will be featured across all six ships exploring the area and reflects the cruise line’s strategy of delivering authentic local experiences. The updated food and beverage options include new port-to-plate selections, elevated Caribbean-themed meals, and the introduction of new signature dishes and suite room service items created by the line’s Culinary Ambassadors: Chefs David Burke, Masaharu Morimoto, Ethan Stowell, and Jacques Torres.

A variety of experiences will be offered both onboard and on shore to immerse guests in the region’s culture. Onboard activities include updated cooking demonstrations that teach guests how to prepare regional specialties at home. The Global Fresh Fish Ambassador, Chef Morimoto, contributed three new supplemental dishes, such as Crispy Fried Market Whole Fresh Fish and Yuzu Butter Grilled Lobster Tails. The other ambassadors introduced supplemental items like Burke’s Boneless Rib Eye and Torres’ Chocolate Dipped Cheesecake, as well as new additions to the suite room service menu. Casual dining options are also enhanced with new port-to-plate dishes, an elevated Caribbean Seafood Boil, and themed dinners near the Lido Pool. Bread pudding varieties, a highly requested treat, will also see new Caribbean-inspired flavors.

The beverage program is expanding its focus on the islands’ spirit through an enhanced Rum Ambassador program, which will feature over 35 distinct rums, including a Single Barrel selection. New regionally flavored juices and smoothies will also be available on select ships. Ashore, dozens of culinary-focused shore excursions are now available, with new options like “All Things Papiamento” in Aruba and “Savor Barbados: A Bajan Feast for the Senses” in Bridgetown. The 2025-2026 season offers nearly 30 itineraries on six ships, introducing Miami, Florida, as a new homeport and bringing all three Pinnacle-class ships—Koningsdam, Nieuw Statendam, and Rotterdam—back to the Caribbean.
