Thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post.

I am by no means a makeup artist, and anything I can do, you can do as well. Trust me! Today I am sharing my updated ten minute makeup routine. Below I break down nine steps that take a total of ten minutes or less to achieve a great everyday look. I’m also sharing some of my current skincare regimen below as well as links to all the Nordstrom products I am using right now.

This beauty routine differs slightly to those I have shared in the past. I am using a thicker moisturizer as we head into cooler, more dry weather. I am also toning down the highlighter and going for a more matte makeup look. I have also switched up the lip color for something a bit more berry and bright.

Nordstrom offers a plethora of beauty services from free makeovers, to skin care consultations, and more! So, next time you are visiting a Nordstrom store, make sure to indulge!

FYI If you are looking for my everyday low bun tutorial check it out here.

STEP ONE: MOISTURIZE

First step for me is moisturizing! I am using this luxe cream as we head into fall and winter. I absolutely love the thickness and the easy application. Shop it here. Below I am going to share a bit more about my current skincare routine as well.

STEP TWO: FOUNDATION APPLICATION

I recently tried this lightweight foundation and have been loving it. I simply use my fingers for application and it goes on evenly and blends so well. It has great coverage while not appearing too thick. The lightweight oil formula stays on all day – super impressed with this product. I am wearing shade Atelier III.

STEP THREE: CONTOURING

While I am still contouring in this routine, compared to my past tutorial, this method is a bit lighter and more natural. I am not using a super strong highlighter, so overall the feeling is more matte. First I use this stick on my forehead, cheek hollows, and the sides of my nose. I am using shade Biscuit! For a light highlight I use this stick in Nectar on the high points of my cheeks, center of my forehead, and the top of my nose. Finally, I use my fingers to blend everything. I love that both of these products are also available in travel sizes!

STEP FOUR: SETTING POWDER

Okay now it’s time to set everything. I have been a Laura Mercier fan since I first discovered the products back in my San Francisco days. The setting powder in Translucent is excellent. I simply brush a bit of the powder all over to help set the foundation and product that was just applied.

STEP FIVE: EYESHADOW & BROWS

Okay moving onto they eyes! Next up I use this palette for my eyeshadow. Lately, I have been feeling more for warmer, sunset shades. I am using the Suede shade as the foundation and then layering on Buff and Tan. Once this is all applied and blended I use this brow gel.

STEP SIX: EYELINER

If you follow me closely you knew this step was coming…the cat eye! For nearly a decade I have stood by Stila’s liquid eyeliner as my product of choice for this step. It stays in place all day, has an excellent application tip, and is the perfect true black shade. 10/10, five stars, no notes! Shop it here.

STEP SEVEN: LIPS

Lips and mascara are my last two steps. I flip flop the order often but today I am swiping on some MAC satin lipstick in pink peppermint before moving onto mascara. Again, I love how this color lives in the berry family but is a bit brighter and happier than the Stila ‘Baci’ that I often wear.

STEP EIGHT: MASCARA

Now let’s layer on some mascara! I like my lashes THICK. Currently I am using Lancome’s Idôle to achieve this look. If I want to create a super dramatic look I will start with some lash primer!

STEP NINE: SETTING SPRAY

Set it and forget it! To ensure everything stays in place all day long I use a setting spray. This one, this one and this one are my three favorites.

SKINCARE RIGHT NOW

Now that I have shared my ten minute daily beauty routine I thought I would also share a few of my favorite skincare items. Great skin is the foundation to any great makeup look. A few of my go-to products…

Therabody TheraFace Mask // After only a few weeks of use, this red light mask has made a noticeable difference in my skin. I simply pop it on before I go to bed and while I am tidying up around the house. I am now considering this for my neck and chest!

Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Glow Pads // These gentle exfoliating pads have an easy to apply self tanner that is fool proof. It is a nice, soft glow that you can build upon, and you don’t have to worry about streaks and drips. I especially love using them in the winter prior to a big party or event!

Dr. Barbara Sturm Serum // I have been using this serum as my first step every morning on clean skin. It helps slow the aging process and give my skin a little firmness boost!

Under Eye Patches // While I am making my morning coffee I pop these patches under my eyes to help get rid of that just-woke-up eye puffiness. I store them in the fridge for a little extra chill.
