Bjorn Andresen Dead – Former Teen Actor Dies at 70

Björn Andrésen has passed away at 70.

The Swedish actor and musician rose to fame as a teen actor in the 1970s, with his breakout role in the movie Death in Venice when he was just 15-years-old. At the premiere of that movie, director Luchino Visconti called him “the most beautiful boy in the world” and that was a nickname that stuck with him.

A documentary about Bjorn‘s life, titled The Most Beautiful Boy in the World, was released in 2021. The film’s co-director Kristian Petri confirmed the actor’s death to a Swedish newspaper, according to THR.

Later in his life, Bjorn had a small role in the 2019 horror movie Midsommar, which was one of Florence Pugh‘s breakout films.
