Millie Bobby Brown Revealed YEARS AGO She & David Harbour ‘Got Angry With Each Other’ For Real ‘On & Off The Set’ Of Stranger Things!

We were shocked to hear about this trouble behind the scenes of Stranger Things! But did we already get hints at it… and just not realize??

OK, just to catch up… According to a bombshell report from Dailymail.com over the weekend, star Millie Bobby Brown filed a complaint with Netflix against David Harbour before filming on the final season began. Supposedly she accused her elder co-star of bullying and harassment! A months-long internal investigation followed, looking into the “pages and pages of accusations.” The source who spilled about the claim made sure to clarify there was NOTHING SEXUAL in the allegations, it was nothing like that. But his behavior was bullying, we guess? Which, of course, was far worse than just a dispute between co-stars if true — especially seeing as how she was just a teen in seasons 2 and 3, when the bulk of their scenes together were filmed.

Apparently nothing came of it in the end. We mean, both actors are still on the show, no one was fired, this never even saw the light of day… The wild thing is, the person who spilled about it was a friend of Lily Allen. They were apparently trying to make a point about how committed she was in the relationship, saying she stood by Harbour even during that mess.

Look, we don’t know for sure if there even was a complaint, let alone the veracity of its contents. What we do know is that several years ago, before anyone had any reason to look sideways at it, Millie told the world she was having IRL fights with Harbour.

In a March 2018 PaleyFest panel, months before Season 3 premiered, Millie was discussing their relationship as actors while they played surrogate father and daughter onscreen. And she said the scenes fighting with Hopper were the most difficult to film. Why? They were so real! She explained to the crowd how their relationship was mirroring the one on the show, per Refinery29:

“We went through so many different emotions… we get angry at each other, we are like father and daughter… We got angry at each other, we would express our feelings on and off the set, and… those scenes were so raw and real that the reward is the scenes.”

They were fighting “off the set”? That’s a little weird and unprofessional in retrospect, right? Did she feel at the time that it helped the scenes… and then later come to the conclusion it was inappropriate? Maybe after having more acting experience and talking to other co-stars? Is that what caused the complaints?

We do know whatever she complained about must have been what happened in Seasons 2 and 3. Because for Season 4 they’re kept apart except for one brief scene at the end of the season. We have to wonder now… was that the result of the inquiry? That they just filmed separately?

Or did that problem solve itself because of the plot… and it was the fact they were going to do more scenes together for Season 5 that spurred Millie to file the complaint ahead of that? Part of the report was that Millie had a personal representative with her on set while working on the final season. Hmm.

Again, we still don’t know if this alleged complaint even exists. We do know Harbour and Millie follow one another on social media, and they’ve never said a negative word in public. But then again, maybe that’s because they know it would hurt the show?

What do YOU think, Perezcious readers??
