Michael Yerger is a fan-favorite contestant from Survivor who has been noticeably absent from reality television in the years since.
The 27-year-old model and content creator competed on season 36 of the CBS series, which aired in 2018. He was just 18 when he filmed the show and he came in ninth place that season.
Many fans assumed that Michael would eventually segue into other shows, the way some contestants have moved on to appearing on The Traitors, The Challenge, and The Amazing Race. But, he hasn’t done any of those shows.
Now he’s explaining why.
