WWE SmackDown Viewership for October 31 Sees Massive Decrease Despite Drew McIntyre Standing Tall Over Cody Rhodes

The October 31, 2025 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown had several memorable moments and that included Drew McIntyre standing tall over Cody Rhodes to close the show. However, the show still ended up seeing a huge decrease in viewership.

According to Programming Insider, SmackDown averaged 933,000 viewers on USA Network, a drop from the 1.147 million viewers recorded on October 24, 2025. The P18–49 rating also fell significantly, sliding to 0.20, down from last week’s 0.29.

However, SmackDown did end up finishing first among all cable shows for the night. The top program overall was Game 6 of the World Series on FOX, which brought in 17.429 million viewers and a 3.52 rating in the key demo. On top of that, SmackDown aired on Halloween, so the show had a lot of tough competition to deal with.

This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown featured a lot of memorable moments and that included Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes having an intense contract signing. It led to Rhodes accepting that the Undisputed WWE Title will change hands via count out or DQ during their title match at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Drew would then take out Rhodes and stand tall to close the show.

Jade Cargill also explained her brutal assault on Tiffany Stratton and proceeded to mock Tiffany Stratton’s catchphrase in brutal fashion ahead of their WWE Women’s Title match at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
