Maxxine Dupri isn’t backing down from the spotlight—and she’s not letting online critics get in her head either.

The WWE star opened up during her interview with Chris Van Vliet about facing harsh fan feedback, learning from a match against Becky Lynch, and the grind she’s been on behind the scenes to get even better. When it comes to the noise online, Maxxine admitted that she’s her own biggest critic—but she’s learned to keep her focus on growth, not validation.

“I think I’m always criticizing myself more than anyone else is. I recognize all of it, I promise you. But I also think it’s so great to hear the praise and hear that people feel something with you, but at the same time, that can all change in the blink of an eye.”

And while some fans take shots online, Maxxine says she leans on a core group of people she trusts—people who actually want her to succeed.

“At the end of the day, I’m playing a character, and I love that the character makes them feel something good or bad. If they feel something, then I’ve done my job. So I think the criticism I take is from people that I really admire and look up to, and who I know are coming from a place of love and want to see me shine and grow. “ just try not to fish for any of it online.”

Maxxine also talked about her first title match against Becky Lynch—a dream come true that turned into a reality check. Even though she came up short, she walked away determined to level up.

“My first title match. And I was really excited to work Becky to feel her timing in the ring. And, of course, if you want to meet your hero, don’t meet Becky Lynch, obviously. And I came up short in that match.”

But she’s not done. Maxxine revealed she’s getting another shot at Becky Lynch this Monday—and this time, she’s more prepared than ever thanks to intense training sessions at Dungeon 2.0 with Natalya and TJ Wilson.

“I felt like I gave her a little run for her money, and I’m facing her again on Monday, which I’m very excited for.”

“Since that match, we’ve been in the Dungeon, working on a lot of things that needed to be adjusted… having Nattie and TJ in there with me, just really fine tuning, filming things, watching it back, seeing like what needs to be adjusted, has been really, really important to my growth.”

Maxxine Dupri isn’t trying to be perfect—she’s trying to get better. And with another match against Becky Lynch on the horizon, she’s showing she’s ready to earn her spot all over again.

Do you think Maxxine Dupri can take Becky Lynch to the limit this time? Or is she still finding her way in WWE? Drop your thoughts in the comments—we want to hear what you think.
