Illinois-based NexGen Hotels has announced its acquisition of the Claridge House Chicago hotel in the city’s Gold Coast Historic District. The hotel is slated to undergo a rebranding initiative and will emerge as a Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel by the summer of 2025.

Located at 1244 North Dearborn Parkway, the Claridge House Chicago is in one of the city’s most iconic areas. The hotel offers guests easy access to various attractions, including Wrigley Field, 360 Chicago, the Lakefront Trail, Lincoln Park Zoo, the Magnificent Mile, Soldier Field, and the Navy Pier. The 165-room establishment is also near various museums, eateries, retail outlets, and entertainment venues.

The hotel rooms, characterized by sophisticated design and residential-style decor, are equipped with modern amenities like plush pillow-top beds, clothes steamers, complimentary Wi-Fi, and spa-style showers. Additional facilities at the hotel include a fitness center, an in-house spa, and a 685-square-foot meeting space complete with audio-visual equipment and technical support.

The Claridge House Chicago also houses two restaurants. Cal’s at Claridge House offers a range of dining options, from morning coffee and pastries to a full evening menu. At the same time, Sushi by Bou Gold Coast provides a high-end dining experience in an opulent setting.
