Sometimes you just click with people, and this interior designer Anya, from Heart that Built Me, happens to be one of those people for me. I absolutely love Anya’s work, and not to mention her Instagram feed, @heartthatbuiltme, where she often shares many of her inspiring interior designs, like this new home I’m sharing today that features subtle organic modern interiors.
Here, the designer explains more about the inspiration behind this recent project: “This new construction home was created with one thing in mind: family. This large family of seven needed space for everyone while also focusing on a beautiful design aesthetic. As the heart of the home, this design was no different, being fully centered around a wonderfully open and inviting kitchen. Thoughtful attention was given to creating lots of storage space throughout while also making sure every space was cohesive and inviting.” – Anya from @heartthatbuiltme.
“Designing a kitchen for a bustling family of seven felt like an amazing opportunity to embrace life’s beautiful chaos. Every cabinet, every surface, and every corner was thoughtfully designed and utilized to meet the rhythm of real living. It’s a space where beauty doesn’t just shine; it serves—where function is poetry, and every detail supports the heart of the home. Featuring a paneled fridge and freezer, a dishwasher, and even a built-in ice machine, this kitchen does not lack for functionality.
