Dillian Whyte just announced his next fight

World title contender Dillian Whyte (31-3, 21 KOs) has just announced his next fight at Portman Road, Ipswich on Saturday, June 7.

The heavyweight veteran will appear on the undercard of Fabio Wardley vs Justis Huni, who clash for the vacant WBO Interim world heavyweight title at Wardley’s beloved Ipswich Town FC stadium.

His addition to the already stacked card is all that’s been confirmed so far, with the details of his opponent and length of rounds yet to be revealed.

Dillian Whyte fought twice last year, winning against Christian Hammer in March 2024, then against Ebenezer Tetteh in December.

Whyte stopped Hammer in three, then Tetteh in seven. He was due to face Joe Joyce in April this year, but was forced to withdraw just one month before through injury.

These victories followed on from a lengthy legal battle after failing drugs test for his proposed rematch with Anthony Joshua, which the 37-year-old was eventually cleared of. The layoff meant that he didn’t fight at all during 2023.
