The Organization of American States (OAS) officially handed over to the EduPOL headquarters the first of 30 police stations that the OAS is preparing to rehabilitate in Haiti.
This police station in Delmas 33 has been completely rehabilitated to meet the needs of police officers. It is now equipped with air-conditioned rooms, separate dormitories, and is powered by 24/7 solar energy.
These premises are designed to support community policing efforts (EduPOL) and improve public reception.
This initiative is part of a broader strategy aimed at optimizing working conditions for police officers and strengthening the effectiveness of the Haitian National Police’s (PNH) community operations.
