Following a successful pre-sale period, Holland America has opened bookings for its two 2027 Grand Voyages. Both sailings will depart in January 2027, providing access to rare ports and including several overnight and extended calls.

2027 Grand World Voyage Highlights

Setting sail aboard Volendam, the 129-night Holland America Grand World Voyage will depart Fort Lauderdale on January 5, 2027. It will include 53 port calls in 28 countries across six continents. Overnight stays will include Copenhagen, Bordeaux, Cape Town, Bali, Sydney, Papeete, and Callao.

The cruise will head south along the west coast of South America, crossing the equator and sailing to Easter Island before traversing the islands of the South Pacific en route to Australia. Guests will explore Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Sri Lanka before sailing south around the Cape of Good Hope and north to St. Helena and Ascension Island, as well as up the west coast of Africa. The ship will then meander through Europe, offering overnight calls in Bordeaux and Copenhagen before crossing the Atlantic Ocean.

Memorable moments along the journey will include the chance to explore historic and remote Jamestown, St. Helena, and Georgetown, Ascension Island. A stop in Bora Bora — often called the “Pearl of the South Pacific” — and an overnight at Bordeaux paired with scenic cruising of the Gironde estuary are also highlights of the Grand World Voyage.

2027 Grand South America & Antarctica Voyage Highlights

Setting sail aboard Zaandam, this 70-night South America and Antarctica voyage will depart Fort Lauderdale on January 3, 2027. It will include 31 port calls in 13 countries across two continents. The ship will spend the night in five ports: Panama City, Callao, Montevideo, Buenos Aires, and Rio de Janeiro.

The ship will head south to transit the Panama Canal before crossing the equator, then sail along South America’s west coast. Calls at ports in the Cayman Islands, Ecuador, Peru, Chile and Argentina, as well as several days of scenic cruising through Chile’s fjords and glaciers are also on the schedule. The ship will then cross the Drake Passage before spending four days scenic cruising in Antarctic. After sailing back north, Zaandam will call at ports in the Falklands, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and French Guinea along South America’s east coast before exploring the Caribbean on the way back to Fort Lauderdale.

Highlights of the cruise will include time at the fabled Isla Robinson Crusoe and scenic cruising in 10 destinations including the Pio XI Glacier and the Beagle Channel.
