Skai Jackson has come forward with serious claims against the father of her 3-month-old son, Kasai. The former Disney Channel star is taking legal action against Deondre “Yerkky Yerkky” Burgin, alleging he abused her.

Skai Said Her Child’s Father Did What?!
On Monday, news broke that Skai Jackson has filed for a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, Burgin. According to documents obtained by TMZ, the actress has detailed multiple incidents of alleged abuse, including an incident that escalated on Mother’s Day. And, now it appears she’s seeking a restraining order to protect herself and her child.
Skai filed the request in L.A. County Superior Court, claiming that earlier this month, Deondre attacked her while she was holding their 3-month-old son. She also alleges that he grabbed her by the hair, slammed her head against a car window, and punched her in the face. Skai is asking a judge to keep Deondre at least 100 yards away from her, their baby, and her dog, as well as to mandate that he attend a domestic violence treatment program.
Burgin seemingly addressed the situation with a cryptic Facebook post saying, “What the helly.”

Social media users have been flooding The Shade Room Instagram comment section with support for Skai, expressing shock and concern over the allegations. Many praised her for having the strength to come forward, while others called for accountability and protection for both her and her child.

More Details On Skai’s Lawsuit
Skai Jackson claims the Mother’s Day incident wasn’t the first time she’s faced abuse from Burgin. According to her, the abuse was a regular occurrence for six months in 2024, with Deondre allegedly abusing her on a weekly basis. She also says he went as far as damaging her personal property, including a TV and her cellphone.
Things reportedly got even more intense during her pregnancy. Skai alleges that Deondre demanded she drink bleach to kill their unborn child and even held her at knifepoint, threatening to stab her in the stomach. She adds that there were additional violent incidents, some of which she claims to have evidence of.
