Verdansk and Rebirth Island are getting major changes in Call of Duty: Warzone season four, with both new content and some fan-favorite features making a comeback.

Downtown Verdansk sees a major rework with a brand-new strategic POI, and Resurgence Ranked Play is returning to Rebirth Island. Plus, new and returning weapons are joining the mix, so brace for another meta shakeup.

Here’s a breakdown know about the Warzone season 4 roadmap.

New weapons

The LC10 and FFAR 1 are back and ready to use at launch, with three more new weapons dropping later in the season.

The LC10, originally from Black Ops Cold War, boasts a blazing-fast fire rate, solid accuracy and range, decent damage, and quick reloads. We’re expecting it to be a serious contender in the SMG category. With the Ladra currently running the meta, the LC10 might just shake things up.

On the other hand, the FFAR from BO3 is a full-auto assault rifle with an insane fire rate and top-tier close-range performance. It’s a strong SMG alternative, though you’ll want to kit it out with attachments like a rear grip or a stock to offset its slower handling and mobility.

Here’s a look at the rest of the weapons and special attachments coming in season four:

  • Olympia special weapon (double-barrel shotgun) (available mid-season)
  • Essex Model 07 marksman rifle (available in-season)
  • Pickaxe melee weapon (available mid-season)
  • G-Grip attachment for SMGs (except PP-919) and ARs (available at launch)
  • Stryder .22 3-Round Burst Mod (available at launch)
  • SVD Full Auto Mod (available in-season)
  • TR2 CQB Auto Conversion (available in-season)

After listening to community feedback, the devs are bringing back Ranked Play Resurgence on Rebirth Island featuring Trio squads. This fan-favorite mode from the Modern Warfare 3 era is making its comeback just before the mid-season update and will run alongside Ranked Play Battle Royale on Verdansk.

That means you’ll be able to jump into both modes while they’re live. Each has its own separate ranking system to ensure competitive integrity.

Ranked BR kicks off at launch and will be available all season long. Here’s a look at the rewards you can earn:
