Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles is preparing for a significant relaunch on June 16, 2025, following a comprehensive renovation. The upgraded resort is located on the west coast of Mahé Island, about 30 minutes from Seychelles International Airport. It’s nestled against lush tropical gardens and offers direct access to pristine white-sand beaches.
The relaunch will feature 192 fully refurbished guest rooms and suites, including the new Lagoon Access Rooms that offer guests closer proximity to the resort’s expanded lagoon-style pool. These enhancements have been made to elevate the guest experience and align with the contemporary sophistication that characterizes the resort.
The revamped resort’s dining scene is designed to celebrate island culture and coastal flavors. Options include globally inspired bites at Pti-Bazar, flame-grilled feasts at Somewhere, and hand-rolled sushi at SEYUMAI. Additional dining options include Zil and Lagon Bars, which serve poolside snacks and drinks, and Bar Barons, which offers hearty meals and signature cocktails.
