How to crop images using Envato AI ImageEdit
In this tutorial, we’ll be editing two photos, both available with your Envato subscription.
Let’s see how to crop an image in just a few steps!
1. How to crop an image using AI (vertical content)
Step 1
Access your Envato account. Go to AI Labs in the top menu, and click ImageEdit.
Step 2
If you’re using your own photo, click Upload Image. Select the image you want to edit with AI.
If you’re working with a photo from Envato, you can edit it directly by clicking Edit with AI.
Step 3
Choose the AI photo Crop tool from the left menu. You’ll see a selection rectangle appear over your image with adjustable handles.
Step 4
Choose the ratio from the bottom menu (1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 2:3, 3:2, 3:4, 4:3), or customize the size by selecting the Free option. For this image, I used a 9:16 ratio.
Adjust and click Crop.
Step 5
If you’re satisfied with the image, click Keep and Download the new cropped image.
