
“How much time do we have left?” That’s one of the terrifying questions raised in 28 Years Later, the long-awaited third chapter in the 28 Days Later horror franchise. When Will 28 Years Later Start Streaming?
As of June 2025, an official streaming date for 28 Years Later hasn’t been announced. Now that the film is about to be released in theaters, Sony Pictures Releasing will likely wait to assess its box office performance before finalizing a digital release timeline.
In 2021, Sony struck a deal with Netflix to stream some of its theatrical releases, so it’s possible 28 Years Later will land on the platform after its run in cinemas. If the studio follows its typical release pattern, the film could be available for digital rental or purchase in August, with a potential Netflix debut by fall 2025.
