Ranked Play is getting even more intense in Black Ops 6 season four, especially after recent weapon adjustments and updates to the competitive ruleset.
If you’re grinding for Skill Rating (SR) and aiming to move up the ladder, here are the best loadouts you’ll want to be running in the current BO6 season so you’ll stay ahead of the competition.
Best ranked loadouts in BO6 season 4
Kompakt 92 best ranked loadout
Slot | Attachment |
---|---|
Muzzle | Ported Compensator (first shot recoil control, vertical recoil control) |
Barrel | Reinforced Barrel (damage range, bullet velocity) |
Underbarrel | Ranger Foregrip (horizontal recoil control, sprinting movement speed) |
Rear Grip | Ergonomic Grip (dive and slide to fire speed, ADS and jumping ADS speed) |
Stock | Infiltrator Stock (aim walking movement speed) |
The Kompakt 92 has a bit of a shaky recoil. If you’re also having trouble keeping it steady like me, I’d suggest running the Ported Compensator along with the Ranger Foregrip, as these two help a lot with control. But if you’re comfortable with the recoil, you can swap out the muzzle for the Volzhisky Reflex or Kepler Microflex optic. The iron sights aren’t the greatest on this SMG, so having a cleaner sight can definitely make a difference.
Jackal PDW best ranked loadout

Slot | Attachment |
---|---|
Barrel | Gain-Twist Barrel (bullet velocity) |
Underbarrel | Ranger Foregrip (horizontal recoil control, sprinting movement speed) |
Rear Grip | Ergonomic Grip (dive and slide to fire speed, ADS and jumping ADS speed) |
Stock | Infiltrator Stock (aim walking movement speed) |
Fire Mods | Recoil Springs (horizontal and vertical recoil control) |
With the C9 removed from Ranked Play this season, the Jackal PDW is now easily the top SMG. This setup is all about maximizing mobility, handling, and recoil control, making it perfect for close-quarters battle. You don’t have barrel options other than Gain-Twist, but that’s not a bad thing since it helps keep your TTK solid even when you’re taking fights at mid-range.
GPR 91 best ranked loadout

Slot | Attachment |
---|---|
Optic | Kepler Microflex (clean precision sight picture) |
Muzzle | Ported Compensator (first shot recoil control, vertical recoil control) |
Barrel | Reinforced Barrel (damage range, bullet velocity |
Rear Grip | Ergonomic Grip (dive and slide to fire speed, ADS and jumping ADS speed) |
Stock | Infiltrator Stock (aim walking movement speed) |
The GPR 91 is now part of the meta in ranked, thanks to the remarkable buff it got in the season four patch. Its medium damage range is gone, but now it only takes two headshots to enhance the TTK across all ranges. Basically, land two headshots and just one more to the body, and you’re dropping enemies fast. That’s why the Ported Compensator is a key attachment here, as it keeps those follow-up shots nice and steady.
AMES 85 best ranked loadout

Slot | Attachment |
---|---|
Optic | Kepler Microflex (clean precision sight picture) |
Muzzle | Ported Compensator (first shot recoil control, vertical recoil control) |
Barrel | Reinforced Barrel (damage range, bullet velocity |
Underbarrel | Vertical Foregrip (horizontal recoil control) |
Stock | Infiltrator Stock (aim walking movement speed) |
Stryder .22 best ranked loadout

Slot | Attachment |
---|---|
Optic | Kepler Microflex (clean precision sight picture) |
Magazine | Fast Mag II (ADS speed, reload quickness, sprint to fire speed) |
Rear Grip | Quickdraw Grip (ADS and jumping ADS speed) |
You’re locked into using the Stryder .22 as your pistol in Ranked Play, and you’re limited to just three attachments, so make them count. Since this is just your backup weapon, mainly for when you’re out of ammo mid-fight, there’s no real need for an Extended Mag. Instead, go with Fast Mag II. It’s the better choice because it bumps up your ADS and sprint to fire speed, helping you snap onto targets quicker during tight engagements.
Best class setup in BO6 season 4 Ranked Play

- Melee: Knife
- Tactical: Concussion
- Lethal: Semtex
- Field Upgrade: Trophy System
- Perk 1: Flak Jacket
- Perk 2: Fast Hands
- Perk 3: Double Time
- Perk Greed: Ninja
- Wildcard: Perk Greed
I’d definitely recommend running Perk Greed over Gunfighter as your wildcard, unless you’re more comfortable having an eight-attachment setup. With Perk Greed, you get more flexibility and utility, which really pays off in ranked matches.
Choose Flak Jacket in the first perk slot, which is a must-have to reduce damage from explosives, especially with all the frags and semtex flying around. You’re locked into Fast Hands in the second slot, but it’s still good since it helps with quicker weapon swaps and equipment use, which can give you an edge in fast-paced fights.
Select Double Time for your third perk. It extends your tactical sprint, which is huge when you’re aiming to rotate quickly or close the gap in tight situations. And for your extra slot from Perk Greed, go with Ninja. It quiets your footsteps, making it a lot harder for enemies to track you by sound, which is ideal for sneaky plays.
