UK: Woolley Grange, a Jacobean manor house in Bath, will undergo a property-wide renovation and begin a phased reopening starting early October 2025.
Heading up the renovation is design firm StudioJill, which claimed that the concept will adhere to a “new yet nostalgic” approach. The studio has worked across the Luxury Family Hotels collection including Fowey Hall on the Cornish Coast, Moonfleet Manor on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, and New Park Manor in the New Forest.
At Woolley Grange, all 25 rooms, its restaurants, spa, pool, garden and common areas, will be renovated.
Jill Higgins, founder and design team at StudioJill, said: “As a design studio we wanted to create a stronger sense of place, celebrating the inherent charm and natural patina of the building whilst layering in modern crafted pieces, pattern and texture. Our approach unifies the old with new to create a more holistic guest experience mixing playful details with a relaxed understated sense of luxury.”
