A new quickscoping monster on the block.

The Essex Model 07 has arrived in Black Ops 6, and it turns out that this lever-action marksman rifle can be a quickscoping beast in Multiplayer.

If you’re an aggressive sniper who wants to quickly rack up one-shot kills, here’s the best Essex loadout to dominate your matches in BO6.

Slot Attchment
Optic Volzhskiy Reflex

Muzzle Suppressor
(no mini-map firing)
Barrel CHF Barrel
(headshot multiplier)
Magazine Stripper Clip
(reload quickness, ADS speed, sprint to fire speed)
Lever Quickdraw Lever
(ADS speed, jumping ADS speed)

This Essex build in BO6 transforms the new marksman rifle into a quickscoping monster that can one-shot enemies with ease. The real game-changer here is the CHF Barrel, as it boosts damage enough to drop opponents with a single shot to the upper chest or higher, even from up to 60 meters out. That kind of consistency puts it right up there with quickscope sniper rifles in terms of TTK.

The Stripper Clip does lower your ammo capacity from eight rounds to six, but the tradeoff is worth it. It speeds up reload time and boosts both ADS and sprint-to-fire speed, which are key for aggressive quickscoping. Pair it with the Quick Lever and you’ll be swiftly snapping onto targets.

Slap on the Suppressor so you’ll stay off the radar while you’re running and gunning. For the optic, the Volzhskiy Reflex or Kepler Microflex gives you clean visuals and just the right amount of zoom. But if you’re into higher magnification, go for the Remuda Dual Zoom.

If you’re thinking of running Gunfighter (though honestly, the base five-attachment build is already cracked), you can add the Heavy Stock, Strelok Laser, and Rapid Fire for even more stability, speed, and follow-up shot potential.

  • Tactical: Stim Shot
  • Lethal: Blast Trap
  • Field Upgrade: Scrambler
  • Perk 1: Gung-Ho
  • Perk 2: Forward Intel
  • Perk 3: Slipstream
  • Extra perk: Bank Roll
  • Wildcard: Perk Greed

I definitely recommend running Gung-Ho with this setup, as it lets you reload while sprinting, so you’re always on the move and won’t get caught mid-fight. Select Forward Intel to expand your minimap and track where enemies are heading, giving you a crucial awareness advantage, especially in fast-paced matches.

Go with Slipstream to boost your base movement speed, letting you stay quick and fluid without needing to rely on tactical sprint. That’s huge for quickscoping, since tactical sprint can mess with your timing and throw off your shot rhythm. I suggest equipping the Perk Greed wildcard and going for Bank Roll so you can quickly pop those scorestreaks, particularly the UAV and Counter-UAV, which can improve your aggressive approach. Additionally, having another red perk activates the Enforcer Combat Specialty, which provides health regeneration and movement speed boost with each kill, perfect for quickscope sniping.
