Chicken, peppers and avocado. Doesn’t that sound too easy? Well, wait until you see what a harmony of flavours the right combination of spices can create. And when you add the toasted tortillas to the mix, you’ve got a flavourful dish that’s perfect for lunch and dinner, not just after a workout.

  • 1/2 avocado
  • fresh coriander to taste

Instructions:

Start by preparing the meat. Clean the chicken breasts, cut them into thin strips and mix them thoroughly with salt, smoked and sweet paprika, dried garlic, cumin, pepper, chilli, oil and lime juice in a large bowl. We leave the meat to marinate like this for at least an hour in the fridge. In the meantime, we’ll slice the cleaned peppers into thin strips and cut the onions into wedges.

Roast the marinated meat in a hot pan, and when it is golden brown, set it aside.

In the same pan, fry the chopped vegetables until soft, then add the meat and mix well. Then remove from the heat. Garnish with limes, sliced avocado and cilantro. Everything can be seasoned with salt and pepper at the end. Serve with toasted tortillas.
